To mark Europe Day, we have relaunched the EUGLOB4SCHOOLS campaign to reach as many schools as possible. We have received expressions of interest from many schools seeking training on European politics, to the point where we have coordinated with the European Documentation Center and the youth association Atrium Europa to accommodate all interested parties.
So far, research assistant Albert Batlle has delivered talks to high school students in Sant Vicenç de Montalt (Institut Esteve Albert, April 29), Terrassa (Escola Tecnos, May 4), Barcelona (Col·legi Sant Gabriel, May 4), and Sabadell (Escola Ramar2, May 8). During the sessions, students learned basic information about the history, functioning, and policies of the European Union in an engaging way and were able to ask questions about current issues that interest them. We observed a great deal of curiosity about how the EU responds to global challenges and what the future holds.
Three new talks are planned for the coming weeks as part of the campaign. We’ll keep you updated!
